Summersville Lake - The Lake has four important purposes; flood control, low water augmentation (releasing water during dry periods to maintain oxygen in the down stream rivers) lake recreation and downstream recreation. With all the different demands on the lake, Summersville Lake fluctuates 70 feet during the year. Learn what the lake level is in real time and the out flow from the dam. What comes in must go out!
