Located at the rim of the New River Gorge in southwestern West Virginia, Adventures on the Gorge is the home of the New River Gorge Adventure Resort including Class VI-Mountain River, The Rivermen, and TreeTops Canopy Tours.

In 2008, Class VI and Adventures Mountain River merged into Class VI-Mountain River. Then in 2009, The Rivermen joined the group to form Adventures on the Gorge, a powerhouse of the best (and first!) rafting and adventure tour companies in West Virginia. Together, we continue to specialize in white water rafting on two of the greatest rivers in the United States - The New River and the Gauley River while also offering over 12 other adventure activity options for family, friends and groups of all ages and levels of experience. We also offer on site dining at 4 restaurants with lodging options from simple camping to deluxe luxury lodge accommodations. But we are most proud of the thousands of families and friends who come back to stay and play with us every year.
