Golf on the Cobb Course at Glade Springs and discover an immaculate golf course which has consistently received high reviews by Golf Week and Golf Digest, The Cobb Course at Glade Springs has earned awards as one of the top ranked golf courses in West Virginia.
The Cobb Course is the most comprehensive golf course in West Virginia and a true testament to the game. Designed by George W. Cobb in the early 70's this 18-hole championship golf course features rolling fairways framed by mature forest leading up to some of the largest greens and bunkers you'll probably ever play. The newly renovated course now features lengths of over 7,000 yards while maintaining the integrity of the original design.
The Stonehaven Course designed by Ault, Clark & Associates, Ltd. is a perfect compliment to The Cobb Course, featuring non-returning nines and some of the most beautiful landscape in West Virginia. Golf this extraordinary mountain course and enjoy tees of Bent-grass and lengths ranging from 7,200 yards from the black to 5,200 yards from the forward tees.

Our activity staff has grown up rafting America's Best Whitewater, climbing, hiking and biking our scenic mountains. Let us help to arrange an action packed or relaxing visit, whichever you desire. On Mallard Lake:
* Canoe or Kayak Rental (canoe holds up to 3 people) $10 per hour

Fly-fishing:
Learn the fundamentals of casting, knot tying, fly and equipment selection, and of course, catching fish! Clinics include personal instruction, use of fishing equipment and fishing in our stocked lake.

Float and Fish:
Enjoy unforgettable fishing in West Virginia with a full or half-day float on the New River, led by our experienced anglers. You'll reel in catch after catch from the comfort of cushioned seats on a custom-designed boat. Each boat holds two people plus your guide. Your equipment, lunch, and shuttle to and from the Gorge are provided.

Basic Horseback Riding
* 1-hour Trail Ride-The Glade Springs Equestrian Center welcomes you to saddle up on a one hour trail ride. We will ride on a wooded trail enjoying the flora and fauna of West Virginia. Trail rides are available for $55 per person on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
* Hand Led Horse Rides-For are young equine enthusiasts we offer a 15 minute hand-led horse ride. Children must be at least three years of age and where a helmet. Children must be a minimum of three years old. $20
* 30 Minute Lesson- Both young and young at heart should join the Equestrian Center staff for a 30-minute lesson. You will learn safety, balance, and direction. Teaching you safety around a horse is our main goal. You will have fun learning. We offer the 30 minute lessons for $45. If you want to expand your learning you can buy our value package at $180 for 5 lessons. We accept riders from seven years and up.
Carriage Rides- Make any occasion a special one with our Amish-crafted vis-Ã -vis carriage, with hand stitched velvet interior and gleaming brass lanterns. The carriage seats four adults and two children comfortably. $160 per hour (minimum 2 people, maximum 6)
Exploring Glade Springs
Ride along miles of trails that meander along mountain streams and over the hills of the resort's 4,100 acres.
