In 2009, Class Vi was proud to merge with fellow WV rafting and adventure outfitters, the Rivermen and Adventures Mountain River to create Adventures On the Gorge, West Virginia's premier adventure resort on the New River Gorge. With our guests' needs in mind and a $4mm of new investment, we immediately went to work adding more rental lodging, a new restaurant and on-site camping facilities. We also expanded our New River Gorge Adventure Resort footprint by building a second campus (Mill Creek) across the street that includes the Rivermen, Rendezvous Lodge & Bar and TreeTops New River Gorge Canopy Tours. We've also expanded our instructional programs including mountain biking (includes on-site rentals & guided tours) and our kayaking school with new outfitter store. And we've partnered with an adjacent residential property and expanded our resort hiking and biking trail systems. Known collectively as Adventures on the Gorge, our West Virginia resort family is committed to providing you with an affordable but world-class adventure vacation.
