Gauley River Rafting West Virginia - Photo by John MuellerIf you love whitewater rafting, there's not a better two-day whitewater rafting trip anywhere than here at Class VI - Mountain River on the Gauley River in West Virginia. We've gone the extra mile for our guests on this overnight, combining the adventure and excitement of Gauley River rafting with a facility and campsite that this spectacular trip deserves: The Canyon Doors Camp.

This trip starts after most of the other trips have left, giving you the river almost completely to yourself. The world-class whitewater on the Upper Gauley is first on your list, and you'll spend the day tackling Class V rapids and floating beneath the steep canyon walls.

In the afternoon, you'll arrive at Canyon Doors Camp to hot showers, warm dry clothes, trays of hors d'oevres, and your favorite drinks at our timber frame pavilion. Hot Tub at Canyon Doors Gauley River WV - Class VI MRWhile you relax, our chefs prepare an unbeatable prime rib and salmon dinner for you to enjoy before you head off to one of the custom built fire rings or the spring-fed, wood fired cedar hot tubs.

In the morning, a big ol' mountain breakfast is set out to refuel you for another thrilling day of whitewater rafting, this time on the Lower Gauley. Plenty of big rapids punctuate the rest of trip before heading back to Class VI to watch your video, swap stories, and (for most of our guests) book next year's trip!
